Indians are eagerly waiting for 5G, even when the news for the 5G spectrum auction says delay, everyone gets upset. However, Bharti Airtel showcased its 5G speed and assured to bring it soon in the country. Recent reports said that the 700MHz band remained unsold because of its high pricing. But then reports came that it will now be made available at a discounted price to allow telecom operators to easily purchase it.

Saying about the sale, Bharti Airtel acquired the 355.45MHz of spectrum across the 800 MHz and 900 MHz bands and 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands, for Rs. 18,699 crores. And Jio got the 488.35MHz of spectrum in 22 circles across India in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands for Rs 57,123 crore. Vi, was the least aggressive bidder, bought 11.8 MHz of airwaves in five circles for Rs 1,993.4 crore and according to DoT.
