Airtel and Jio Users Can Now Upgrade to Disney+ Hotstar Premium from VIP

Airtel and Jio are the top telecom company in India. They both introduced a recharge plan during IPL 2020, where they offered data and a Hotstar VIP subscription. The IPL is over, and yet none of the telecom providers has taken down the offer. However, they don’t provide a Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription with any offer. Reports say that Airtel and Jio users having Disney+ Hotstar VIP  can now easily upgrade to its Premium subscription.

Earlier, users were required to purchase Premium subscription separately as Disney+ Hotstar does not consider promotional offers or coupons as direct purchases. However, now even if you have the subscription via promotional offers, you will be considered as a buyer. So now users will be allowed to upgrade from their VIP plan to Premium. Users will just need to pay the remaining amount and they will be upgraded to the Premium one.
