ASUS introduces new ROG STRIX SCAR III with new Keystone compatibility

Asus has unveiled a whole new refreshed lineup of their ROG laptops. The company has introduced new Zephyrus, ROG STRIX III, and HERO III models alongside 3 ROG Desktops too. Our all-time favorite ROG STRIX has a completely refreshed makeover both from the inside and outside.

ROG STRIX III now comes with an all-new super powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX-20 Series GPU. The machine can now run games working over Ray Tracing Platform. It is coupled with the latest 9th gen Intel Core i9-9880H CPU. With up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, the machine can reach speeds of 1540MHz at 115W in Turbo mode for superfast gaming performance at high FPS. This gaming laptop is very capable, this 8-core processor clocks as high as 4.1 GHz with a single core and it can manage heavy multitasking quite easily with its 16 threads. And to complement the power of the machine, the ROG STRIX III sports a whopping 240Hz refresh rate display with the 3ms response time. This assures you to see the best capabilities of the machine.

Being a beast is good but being a cool beast is even better! The ROG STRIX III has an updated cooling system now. Its Intelligent Cooling optimizes cooling performance with a blend of hardware and software. The new innovative structural design with enhanced air intake from a wide, ventilated 3D Flow Zone increases overall airflow of the machine to keep the temperatures down. This helps to reduce thermal throttling and improves efficiency. Strategie Keyboard ventilation also keeps your hands cool during longer gaming sessions so no more hot and sweaty hands? But the most interesting part of the machine is the keystone. The keystone is a new key attachment which unlocks deep customization to the machine. Keystones are basically physical keys that can be docked to quickly load system preferences stored in your ROG ID. It can also unlock the access to an encrypted Shadow Drive hidden on your computer, pretty cool isn’ it? The machine supports RangeBooster for smarter and reliable wifi connectivity.

It uses four antennas inside to locate the best signal range and increases the range with up to 30% hike. The STRIX III now has the signature wraparound light bar which illuminates the outer edge of the chassis, complementing the RGB ROG logo and the backlit keyboard personalized colors and effects.
