The Asus ROG phone lineup reeks of gaming. Be it the looks, spec sheet, or exclusive features tailor-made for hardcore gamers. They are without a doubt the best gaming smartphones in the world of Android. With the Asus ROG Phone 6 launching in 2022, the company continues to keep the legacy alive and take things up a notch as always. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 6 price in India and launch date are unknown; we do have some of the early design leaks in the form of a 2D render. Although quite similar to its predecessor Asus ROG Phone 5, it has some bells and whistles of its own. Let us see what Asus hits us with this time.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Leaks & Rumours
As per the leaked images of the rear panel, we can see that both the Asus ROG 6 and ROG 6 Pro continue to give off the aesthetic gaming vibe. On the backside of the Asus ROG 6, the ROG logo and the ROG 6 branding are printed while on the ROG 6 Pro, there is only the ROG logo.

The brand new feature here is the presence of a secondary screen on the rear side for both smartphones. While the ROG 6 has a small display with a rectangular design, the ROG 6 Pro has a larger display that resembles a rectangular and triangular design.
The display on the latest ROG 6 and ROG 6 Pro will most likely be a 6.5 inch super AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a high touch sampling rate of around 300 Hz. As for the battery department, it will likely be powered by a 6000mAh battery that will allow you to game for hours on end. Like the previous ROG 5 series, this too will have two USB type C ports for the most comfortable angles if you wish to plug in and play at the same time.
Processor
Both the smartphones are expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with Android 12 out of the box. This is obviously the latest, most powerful, and efficient Android chipset in the world as of now to deliver top-of-the-line performance.
As we can see from the leaked images themselves, both of them continue to feature a triple rear camera setup. However, the position of the same has been changed slightly this time from being centrally aligned to left-aligned. They are likely to be 64MP, 16MP, and 5MP respectively. The front camera will most probably be a single 32MP shooter.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro: Price In India
The latest, top-of-the-line gaming phones do not come cheap. The ROG 6 might start around Rs.60,000 in India while the 6 Pro will cost even higher at around Rs.70,000.
