A graphics card or GPU is considered to be the main component of a gaming PC. The graphical capabilities of a PC are directly associated with how powerful the GPU is. The global tech market is experiencing a shortage of semiconductors, and this makes it very difficult for GPU producers to maintain a competitive price point. However, this does not mean that you have to spend a big part of your budget on GPU. There are multiple options that you can consider while building a new gaming PC in 2022. The cards mentioned in this article justify their price and performance and can be a good option in their respective budgets. So, let’s have a look at Best GPU Across Budgets in 2022 without any further ado.

The Minimum Range (Upto INR 10K-12K)

The existence of this market is constantly floating, meaning that there is a shortage of GPUs in this range. There are not a lot of options in this price segment, but there are a couple. The first option is the Nvidia GT 1030 with 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM. The second option is the Nvidia Quadro T400. This is a fairly new option and is also an RTX series card. The card comes with 2 GB GDDR6 VRAM. These are the only two options in this price segment.

However, if you are confused between these two cards, then the best pick for you will be the Quadro T400. The card is a good budget option for 1080p gaming. Older single-player games can easily run on 1080p resolution on medium-to-high settings. For newer games, you will have to compromise on the resolution, but at 720p, you can enjoy the latest games on high settings with enjoyable FPS. If you are a strict budget gamer, then this is a good option for you.

If you can push your budget to INR 12K, there is another option. The Nvidia Quadro T600. This card comes with a 4 GB VRAM, as opposed to the 2 GB available on the T400. Both the cards are RTX series cards, designed by Nvidia for PlayStation consoles, but due to the shortage globally, gamers are also buying these cards.

The T600 comes with 3-4 display ports, making it convenient for a multi-monitor setup. This is the ideal option if your budget is 15K for a GPU.

The Consumer Range (Upto INR 15K-25k)

This is a monopoly price range ruled by the Nvidia GTX 1650. This GPU comes with 4 GB DDR6 VRAM, with dual fans. The performance of the GTX 1650 is not hidden from anyone. The card has been in the market for a long time and is considered to be the best option for 1080p gaming on a budget.

The price of the GPU is slightly high for the performance, but considering the shortage in the market, the demand for the card is constantly rising. Since the prices are fluctuating, the cards are currently being sold at INR 22K, but even in that case, it is best to get the card if you are urgently looking to build a PC.

The Mid-Range (Upto INR 30K-35k)

The best and the latest GPU in this price range is the Nvidia RTX 3050. Previously, there was no contender in this segment, and users had to settle for GTX 1660 Super. This newly launched GPU changes that.

Gamers can now experience ray-tracing with this card. This card can also be a very good option if you want to do video editing. Or if you are a gamer who enjoys a smooth high FPS gaming experience, this card is for you.

The Premium Mid-Range (Upto INR 40K-45K)

This segment might seem competitive, but there is a clear choice here. The AMD Radeon RX 6600. The GPU comes with 8 GB VRAM and is capable of handling 2K gaming on medium settings.

At 1080p resolution, you can enjoy gaming on the ultra settings. This is the best card in the segment considering the price to performance ratio.

The Premium Range (Upto INR 50-60K)

There are several cards that fall in this category due to the constant fluctuation in prices. However, there are only two good options in this segment that should be considered. The first card is the AMD Radeon RX 6600XT. This card with 8 GB VRAM and is capable of delivering a smooth gaming experience on 2K. It is currently priced at around INR 50k-55k.

If you are looking to utilize and experience ray tracing, then the next card is the one for you. The Nvidia RTX 3060. This GPU comes with 12 GB VRAM and can be purchased at around INR 60K. The card is a very good option if you want to try content creation and video editing.

However, if you are not into ray-tracing then a better option would be the RX 6600XT. The card is capable of delivering better gaming performance than the RTX 3060.

These were the cards that you should look out for in 2022, so far. Hoping for it to be a better year for competitive pricing.
