Cyberpunk 2077 was recently launched and gamers totally fell into it. Recently, the update was released for the game and which brings the support of using mods and allows the use of custom saves. The update also brought the fix for a game-breaking bug that arrived with Patch 1.1.
Now Cyberpunk 2077 PC players have been warned by the official developers of the game, saying that using mods and custom saves in the game will lead to user’s security risk. The official developer CD Projekt Red took Twitter and informed gamers that there is a vulnerability in external DLL files, which is used by the game and can also be used by hackers to execute a code on the users’ system.
If you plan to use @CyberpunkGame mods/custom saves on PC, use caution. We've been made aware of a vulnerability in external DLL files the game uses which can be used to execute code on PCs. Issue will be fixed ASAP. For now, please refrain from using files from unknown sources.
