Dark Mode is one of the most popular features of any app or even of any operating system. Facebook Messenger and Google Drive recently get the dark mode and even we can expect system-wide dark mode in Android Q. Dark Mode definitely looks good but what is great about this feature is it saves a lot of battery especially in AMOLED displays. We are waiting for the Dark Mode in Whatsapp for a long time. Many of us have used different Whatsapp modes like GB Whatsapp to get the Dark Mode. Finally, the good news is here, the latest Whatsapp beta 2.19.82 gets Dark Mode.
Whatsapp Beta 2.19.82 Dark Mode
WABetaInfo shared the screenshots of Whatsapp Beta Version 2.19.82 which includes the Dark Mode. However, the dark mode is not available for every user. But WABetaInfo somehow manages to turn on the dark mode in Whatsapp. We should mention here that they have shared Whatsapp Dark Mode for iOS a few months ago.
Let’s now look at the Whatsapp Dark Mode. As you can see from the screenshots that it is based on a very dark grey color, it is not implementing pure black color. The pure Black color is OLED Display friendly, although it’s good to see this kind of Dark Mode in Whatsapp at least.
Screenshots of chat are missing so we have no idea how it looks. The Dark Mode is under development now.
Whatsapp Dark Mode Update
As we mentioned above the dark mode in Whatsapp is not available for everyone. One thing is clear now that Whatsapp has definitely started working on the Dark Mode for Android. The release date of Whatsapp Dark Mode is not confirmed yet. The Dark Mode is not ready yet and it needs a lot of development, so it will take time.
One more thing to notice here is that Whatsapp recently Redesigned the Settings tab to make it compatible with the Dark Mode.
We have to wait to get the Dark Mode in Whatsapp. But we will keep you updated regarding the Whatsapp Dark Mode. Stay Tuned with us to get the Dark Mode, We mean to say the news about the Dark Mode.
