Foxconn to set up Advanced Industrial AI center in Hyderabad.

Foxconn Industrial Internet, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology, will be establishing an Advanced Industrial Artificial Intelligence Centre in Hyderabad. This would facilitate technological services and smart manufacturing solutions for Foxconn Group. Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing giant has already set up its India manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

How it will benefit the masses?

The research and development platform would provide technological services and smart manufacturing solutions to the Foxconn Group. Their vision is to incorporate cloud computing and mobile devices. IoT, big data, AI, network transmission, automated robotics, 8K display, and 5G capabilities are also their aim. Foxconn will set up this research in collaboration with the academic and industrial ecosystem.

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary to the Government of Telangana, welcomed the initiative of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co Ltd. Hyderabad will now become the global hub for Industrial AI and IoT. It’s a proven academic and technology talent pool together with Industry support.
