Google is globally rolling out a new version of Chrome that is Google Chrome 88. With the new version, Google has entered into the security game by adding additional features of recognizing and analyzing a password. Also, the Android version of Chrome will soon have a biometric authentication feature for secure password filling.
Now, Chrome will let you check your stored passwords and will let you know if you are using a weak or easily predictable password that can be vulnerable to your security. According to a report, many users are using dozens of compromised passwords, now this problem will not exist as dedicated password managers in Chrome will make the password identification process easy. To check passwords in Chrome 88, users can go to chrome://settings/passwords or will have to click on their profile image and then click the “key” icon.
