How to Avail Faceless RTO Services Online

Have you ever thought that it would be great if you don’t have to go to RTO to get your driver’s license or RC book? If yes, then you are at the right place as today we are going to tell you how to do it while you are in Delhi. The Delhi Government has launched a Faceless Service for the transport department. All 33 major transport-related services will be available online. Delhi Government has added in the statement that all these 33 services cover almost 95% of the applicants. What is Faceless RTO Services?

The previous week on Wednesday, Delhi Government launched the Faceless transport service program which takes 95% of transport-related paperwork online. The decision was taken to stop corruption at transport department offices and to provide freedom to Delhiites from long queues, brokers, middlemen at the RTO office. Delhi RTO offices are using AI-based facial recognition software supported by an Aadhaar based authentication system to ensure security while issuing an Online Learner License. Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said that over 3.50 lakh requests were approved during the 5-month trial. The state has shut its four busiest transport offices in Sarai Kale Khan, IP Depot, Vasant Vihar, and Janakpuri.

How to Avail Faceless RTO Services Online?

Here’s how to avail Faceless RTO services online. Just follow some easy steps to avail Faceless RTO services:

Step 1. Visit https://transport.delhi.gov.in/home/transport-department

Step 2. Now apply for the required DL/ RC/ Permit related service.

Step 3. Upload the required documents and pay the fee online.

Step 4. Authentication will be done through Aadhar Card.

Step 5. You can sign in through your Aadhar Card.

IMPORTANT: Service will be delivered through Speed Post/ Electronic mode (SMS link for downloading PDF documents on phone sent to DigiLocker/ m-Parivahan app).
