Keep using your phone until the battery dies completely and the screen turns off.
Long press the power button to turn your phone on. It will most likely shut down before it even boots up fully.
Repeat Step 2 several times till your phone is unable to even power on the screen to show any signs of booting up or even display the brand logo.
In this very state, plug in your Android smartphone to a charger and let it charge for at least 6 hours without turning it on or using it.
Disconnect it from the charger after the said span of time and power it on. You may now use it normally as you do and charge it as per your daily routine.
