Rockstar Games has decided to remaster three of its most epic chapters of the insanely popular game- Grand Theft Auto. This new and enhanced GTA trilogy will feature GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas; all updated for better graphics, details, and higher resolution. Calling it the Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition, Rockstar will roll this out for PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series S and X. “Three iconic cities, three epic stories, one definitive collection”, that’s how legendary Rockstar claims this is going to be and surely bring back memories for 90s kids who grew up playing these titles. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition will be available in digital mode for PlayStation users via the PlayStation Store, for Xbox players via the Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, and Rockstar Games Launcher all on 11 November 2021. Physical CDs for PlayStation and Xbox users will officially release on December 7, 2021.
Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition: New Look
Bringing back the nostalgia of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas in a modern new look, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition aims to bring modern controls we could see in GTA V. However, even after improved graphics and visuals, it does not fail to hit us with the classic vintage 90s look that we all associate GTA with.
Along with multiple updates in weapons, achievements, and overall in-game improvements, GTA Trilogy has some cool device-specific features as well. For example, Nintendo Switch players can use gyro aiming while PC users have support for Nvidia DLSS and added accomplishments via the Rockstar Games Social Club.
In order to run GTA Definitive Edition Trilogy on PC, users will have to have a minimum of 8GB of RAM, i5-2700/FX-3600 processor, and Nvidia GTX 760 2GB/Radeon R9 280 graphics card. Considering the improvements promised by Rockstar Games, these PC requirements are not much. However, keep in mind that you will need around 45GB of free hard drive space to install the brand new GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition.
