How to Turn Off Google Trending Searches on Smartphones?

Step 1. Launch Google App on your smartphone. The App is available on both Android and iOS devices, but make sure you have updated to the latest version.

Step 2. Now tap on the profile option in the top right corner, a menu will appear.

Step 3. After that click on the Settings option. A page will open up where you will find the General option.

Step 4. Now look for the Autocomplete with trending searches option.

Step 5. Tap on the toggle button to turn off the trending searches.

How to Turn Off Google Trending Searches Using Browser?

Step 1. Open the browser where you have logged into your Google Account.

Step 2. Now browse www.google.com.

Step 3. Google search will open up on your screen, now head over to the top left corner and tap on the Burger like the icon to open the menu.

Step 4. Tap on the Settings option to open the settings page. Now scroll down a bit and you will find Autocomplete with trending searches under which you will find two options Show popular searches and Do not show popular searches.

Step 5. Select the second option and then save it to completely turn off your Google trending searches.

How to Turn Off Google Trending Searches Using PC or Mac?

Step 1. Launch any browser which you usually use to do Google searches.

Step 2. Now enter www.google.com and hit the enter key.

Step 3. After that Google search page will appear. On the bottom right corner, you will find the Settings option.

Step 4. Click on the option a menu will appear, select the Search Settings option.

Step 5. A page will open up with more Search Settings options, now scroll down and look for Autocomplete with trending searches option.

Step 6. You will find two more options select the Do not show popular searches and then click on save to completely turn off Google trending searches.
