It is powered by Snapdragon 730G, along with a 5,000mAh battery, 64MP quad camera on the back and a pop-up selfie camera. Specs look good on the paper, and the close to Stock Android experience is the cherry on top! We have seen in the past that developer support is very good for the Moto G series and we can expect the same for the One Fusion+. Well, the first need is to unlock the bootloader. In this article, we will be talking about how to unlock bootloader of Motorola One Fusion+.

How to Unlock Bootloader of Motorola One Fusion+

Before you unlock the bootloader, make sure to backup your data because it will clear everything. Also, do note that bootloader unlocking might void the warranty. Charge your phone 100% or at least more than 60% to avoid any unexpected shutdown. Now, if you have done that, let’s begin.

1. First of all, install SDK Platform Tools on your PC/Laptop. Click here to download.

2. Now go to your phone’s settings.

About Phone > Tap on the build number 7 times > You have enabled Developer Options

3. Go to Settings > Developer Options and turn on USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking

4. Turn off your smartphone.

5. Press Power Button and Volume Down button together for a few seconds and your phone will boot in fastboot mode.

6. Connect your phone to PC using a data cable.

7. Open Command window or Powershell window in your PC/laptop and write down the below command.

fastboot oem get_unlock_data

8. Now, it will show 5 line code. Copy that code and make it a one-liner.

9. Visit Motorola Unlock Page and sign in with your account and Paste the code there.

10. Then click on ‘Can my device be unlocked?’ and then click on ‘Request Unlock Key.’

11. Now, you will receive a code on your mail.

12. Enter the following command, where replace ‘code’ with the code you got on your mail.

13. Your phone’s bootloader will be unlocked successfully. You can now reboot and set up your device. Now, you can root your phone.

If the bootloader does not unlock in the first try, then you can try the same method after a few days.
