Realme has sold a total of 10.2 Million units of C-series smartphone across the world. Realme C1 and C2 are the entry-level smartphones with pretty decent specs for the asking price. Now, the third smartphone of the entry-level series, Realme C3 launching in India on the 6th of January. Let’s find out the expected Realme C3 specifications and Realme C3 Price in this article. Also, Realme has been teasing its fitness band for quite a sometime now, and we might expect Realme Fitness Band launch on the same date.
Realme C3 India Launch
Realme started sending invites for the launch event of Realme C3, which will take place on 6th February. The event will begin at 12:30 PM. You can watch the live stream of the Event on Realme India’s YouTube Channel as well as on Social media handles.
Realme C3 Specifications
Realme C3 is going to be an entry-level smartphone. The tagline of C3 “Entertainment Ka Superstar” suggests that the main focus here is on media consumption and not the performance. However,R C3 will be the first phone to come with Helio G70 SoC. It’s a gaming focused chipset by Mediatek which will perform excellent and we can compare it with the Snapdragon 6 & 7 series chipsets. Other specifications are going to be quite good for the asking price. Let’s check them out.
Realme 5-like Design
Realme C2 Box Contents
C3 will have a polycarbonate body the same as its precursor and Realme 5i. Realme C2 has a unique Diamond Cut design, but the Realme C3 will probably have a clean back panel. We can see a blue color variant of the phone in the invite image. The power button is present on the right side, while the volume button is present on the left side.
HD+ Display
The invite image shows a waterdrop notch display with comparatively smaller bezels all around. The screen size will be approximately 6.5 inches. Some reports suggest that Realme will use an FHD+ panel on the Realme C3, but it’s doubtful because the higher end model Realme 5i also comes with an HD+ display. For an entry-level smartphone, it’s completely acceptable. The display will be protected by Gorilla glass.
Great Performance: Helio G70
Realme C1 came with the Snapdragon 450 SoC while the C2 was launched with the Helio P22 chipset. Both of them are entry-level chipsets. But MediaTek Helio G70 chipset will power Realme C3 which scores 1,94,170 in the AnTuTu benchmark. So, the performance is going to be great! It will have either 3 or 4 gigs RAM with 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage, respectively. Helio G70 is a pretty powerful chipset.
Budget smartphones come with a bigger battery, and the Realme C3 is not going to be an exception. The phone might pack a massive 5,000mAh battery. USB Type-C would be great, but most probably, we will have a micro USB slot for the charging.
Dual Rear Camera
So, the Realme C3 has a dual-camera setup on the back. The camera specifications are not revealed yet, but we can expect a primary 12MP sensor coupled with a depth sensor. Realme might offer an ultrawide angle lens in place of the depth sensor. Let’s wait and watch! On the front, there will be an 8MP front camera.
Realme UI out of the box
The Realme C3 will be the first phone to come with Realme UI out of the box. Realme UI is far better than the ColorOS 6. So, the user experience in the entry-level smartphone is going to be great!
