There has been a leak going around for a while that Samsung is going to come with its new flagship processor, which is much more powerful than its other competitors. It is rumoured that the Exynos 1080 is going to be more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Samsung Exynos 1080 is going to be the first chip to be built by Samsung on the 5nm architecture. Samsung Exynos 1080 was rumoured to be featured in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, but earlier this month it was reported that the Galaxy S21 series is not going to debut Exynos 1080. Samsung Exynos 1080 is coming with Cortex-A78 microarchitecture. The processor also includes Mali-G78 MP10 GPU for graphics. Samsung Exynos 1080 is going to come with Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and FM Radio support. It comes with 200MP camera support for a single camera and 32+32MP for a dual camera also. The processor is also going to support WQHD+ 90HZ displays and FHD+ 144Hz display for awesome visuals. On the memory side, Exynos 1080 supports LPDDR5 and LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 3.1 storage. As an Android System, it is said to support video recording at 4K 60FPS with HEVC(H.265)/ H.264/ VP8/ VP9 ( 10bit only with HEVC & VP9) encoding. The processor also supports 5G NR Sub-6GHz 5.1 Gbps(DL)/ 1.28Gbps(UL), 5G NR nmWave 3.67Gbps (DL)/ 3.67(UL) and LTE Cat.18 6CA 1.2Gbps(DL)/ Cat.18 2CA 200Mbps(UL). Vivo X60 is soon going to get launched. It is expected that the Vivo X60 is going to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1080 processor.

Samsung Exynos 1080 Launch Date in India

There is not any confirmed news when the Samsung Exynos 1080 powered smartphones will launch in India. However, as the Samsung Exynos 1080 launch date in India was November 12, we can expect the all-new abovementioned phones will launch in Q1 or Q2 of 2021.
