Samsung Galaxy S21 Selfie Camera with OIS!

A new rumour says that the Galaxy S21 is said to bring improved selfie camera compared to the Galaxy S20. It could have a bigger sensor and optical image stabilisation. Samsung is said to be testing two prototypes of the Galaxy S21. In the first one, the phone has a 1/2-inch sensor and up to 48-megapixel resolution. The other one is likely to be a 1/2.55-inch sensor with 12-megapixel resolution but with OIS capabilities.

To recall, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus have a 1/3.2-inch 10MP selfie camera with dual-pixel autofocus. While the Galaxy S20 Ultra ships with a 1/2.65-inch 40MP sensor with Super PD autofocus. They can record 4K videos at 60fps with the front-facing cameras. Last week, Samsung Galaxy S21 was rumoured to come with the much-awaited under-display selfie camera technology. This move will do away with the necessity of a notch or punch-hole currently seen on most flagship phones.

That being said, this leak should be taken with a grain of salt. We’ll have to wait for more substantial leaks to believe that such a feature could indeed arrive in the next generation Galaxy smartphone. Are you excited for the Galaxy S21 OIS selfie camera?
