Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G: What is new?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G have surfaced on the benchmark site Geekbench with the model number SM-F707B. The smartphone listing shows multiple details of the smartphone. It is said to run on Android 10 and is likely powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The benchmark leak indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will not only support 5G but will also have an upgraded processor.
The listing also highlights the motherboard as “Kona.” Which the codename for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and further confirming the 5G existence. The leak further shows the smartphone with 8GB RAM and Android 10. Finally, it is still unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will have any other changes. We believe that Samsung will just be launching the same foldable smartphone with 5G in it. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip lacked 5G when it was launched; now a 5G variant would fill the gap.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G Launch in India
According to previous reports, it was suggested that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will launch in August 2020 along with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 family. Then soon, it will come to India as well. Though in India, there is no infrastructure for 5G, bringing a 5G foldable smartphone would make it future proof. Finally, the company is yet to confirm this development; it may be an altogether a new foldable phone successor to Galaxy Z Flip.
