Vivo Z6 5G Launched in China: Might Arrive In India Soon

Vivo is the Chinese tech brand comes under BBK Electronics. It’s a brand to go with many innovations in smartphones industry and also makes their phones available at affordable price segment. So now Vivo is coming up with its new smartphone called Vivo Z6 5G. As the name suggests, Yes it will be a 5G device, and it was launched in China yesterday (29th February) and is expected to soon arrive in India before March ends. Vivo Z6 5G Features:

There were many leaks and rumours of this phone now all the specifications are officially confirmed. Let’s begin with the physical overview of the device.

Physical Overview:

 

It comes with 6.57-inches punch-hole display. It looks very slim and has very few bezels on three sides and also it comes with a 90.74% screen-to-body ratio. On the back, there is an L-shape quad rear camera setup. There is a physical square-shaped fingerprint scanner in the middle. The Vivo 5G logo is present vertically at the bottom. The left side is pretty much clean and has only a sim tray. On the right side, it has Volume rockers and a Power button. Now let’s move on towards other features and specs.

Display & Battery:

The device comes with a 6.57-inches IPS LCD screen having a 20:9 aspect ratio and has a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with 401ppi density. And as mentioned above, it will be having minimalistic bezels and punch-hole display. It has a huge battery capacity of 5000mAh and has 44W charging support which can charge your battery up to 70% in 35 minutes.

Processor & Software:

The device will be equipped with the latest announced chipset by Qualcomm for 5G, and that is also a gaming processor, so-called Snapdragon 765G (7nm). The chipset precisely has CPU – Octa-core (1×2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime & 1×2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver). For the graphics-intensive stuff, it has Adreno 620 GPU. It comes with the latest Funtouch OS 10.0, which will be based on Android 10. It has UFS 2.1 storage and may come up with 2 Storage variants of – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB.

Camera:

The device will be coming with the quad-camera setup arranged in a rectangle bump. So, Vivo Z6 5G has a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, a second 8MP ultrawide angle lens (112-degrees) with an f/2.2 aperture, a third 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It also has a 16MP camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.48 aperture.

Vivo Z6 Launch Date in India:

Vivo launches most of its smartphones in India. There is no official confirmation on the Vivo Z6 5G India launch yet. Therefore, we are expecting that the launch will likely to get before April 2020.

Vivo Z6 5G Price in India:

This device will support 5G. However, here in India, 5G is yet to arrive, but as 5G smartphones are raining from brands, it is obvious that the price will be aggressive as per the Indian market. Vivo has launched the Z6 5G in China in two variants with different RAM and Internal Storage. The base variant 6GB + 128GB is priced at Yuan 2,198 while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Yuan 2,598. We can expect somewhat similar pricing in India as well. So, the Vivo Z6 base variant is likely to come around Rs. 22,500 and the other variant will come around Rs. 27,000.
