Youtube Shorts to Launch in US & Videos to Automatically Add Video Chapters

Yesterday, in the official blog post YouTube announced some of the upcoming features that will soon be added to YouTube. YouTube will soon be offering those features to the audiences. YouTube will soon launch the new revamped YouTube VR app and the update will bring up the improved navigation and accessibility. Moreover, it will also improve the search function in the VR form factor. And YouTube revealed that they will soon be launching Youtube shorts in the US.

Also, Youtube mentioned that they will be adding automatic video chapters. Video chapters will allow users to directly jump to the point on the video to save users’ time. It is similar to the timestamps we currently use in the comments and some YouTubers in their description. They will also add offline viewing functionality on the YouTube TV app.
