Its been a week since Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones launched in India and updates are already rolling out. K20 and K20 Pro came out as shocker to most people regarding the pricing but I think people are not understanding what they are getting at that price. This article is not to convince you to consider buying the K20 or K20 Pro. This article will focus on Redmi K20 MIUI update and also Redmi K20 Pro MIUI Update. Redmi K20 Pro Update MIUI 10.3.3 Update Changelog

  • System Security: Updated Android Security Patch (June 2019).
  • Lockscreen, Status bar, Notification shade: Fixed: Media volume couldn’t be restored after receiving a notification.
  • Camera: Optimization: UI for beauty filters
  • Optimization: Same set of filters works for photos, portraits, and short clips.
  • Mi Cloud: Fixed: The app forced closed after signing out of Mi account.

Redmi K20 MIUI 10.3.6 Update Changelog

  • System: Optimization: Updated Android Security Patch (June 2019).
  • Lockscreen, Status bar, Notification shade: Fixed: Media volume couldn’t be restored after receiving a notification.
  • Camera: Optimization: Beauty filters.
  • Game speed booster: Fixed: Hands-free call duration wasn’t displayed correctly in Game Turbo
  • Other improvements and optimizations: Fixed: Screen turned off unexpectedly in some cases.

How to Update Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro

The regular way! We don’t have the link yet to do it externally.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. About Phone.
  3. System Updates.
  4. Check for Updates.

If you are one of the people who got the early OTA then you will see the option to download the update file which is around 475mb in size. It’s all automated process, your phone restarts and gets updated on its own.
