Samsung recently updated the Android Pie roadmap for its devices on its Members App, and The roadmap confirms that over 20 Samsung devices including devices from all the price segment will receive the Android pie with new Samsung One UI update in upcoming months. So in this article, we are going to talk about Samsung Android Pie One UI update. The upcoming Android Pie with One UI update’s roadmap shows that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will get the Android Pie update in January 2019 however in some countries like Germany, Switzerland, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, and Turkey, Samsung has already rolled out android pie update for S9 and S9+.
Samsung one UI update will bring many new features like a system-wide dark theme, new full-screen gestures, new system UI and much more. The Samsung Note 9 will receive the Android pie update in February through its already running beta pie releases. Last month Samsung announced that they will release the android pie for galaxy note 9 along with the galaxy s9 and s9+ but as we all can see, they have a change in plan.
Samsung has skipped Galaxy S7 and S7+ from the list probably because both the devices have already received 2 major updates and thus are not eligible for another one. Also a few weeks back, Galaxy Note FE was rumored to receive android pie update but seems like Samsung have removed it too from the list.
