Realme Q With Snapdragon 712 & 48MP Quad Camera Will Launch In China On September 5

Realme will launch its Q series of smartphone in China on September 5. Realme will launch 4 products on this day. It seems like Realme Q series is most likely a rebranded version of the Realme 5 series which is launched in India. Also, the 64MP Quad Camera smartphone Realme XT might also launch in China on September 5. According to a Weibo post, the Realme Q series will be powered by the Snapdragon 712 and it will feature a 48MP camera. Realme Q specifications will be the same as the Realme 5 Pro. They might launch Realme XT and their own Realme OS in this event.

Rebranded Realme 5 & 5 Pro

Realme is all set to launch its Q series smartphone on September 5 in China. Most probably Realme Q and Realme Q Lite will be Rebranded version of the Realme 5 Pro and Realme 5 respectively. Both these smartphones launched in India first and we can expect that they will launch the same device in China with its Q series. Realme 5 Pro is certified by TENAA in China and it is expected to launch as Realme Q.

If we look at the past then Realme has launched Realme X Lite in China along with the Realme X. This device is named as Realme 3 Pro in India. This time around they have launched their new smartphones in India first and probably they will introduce these smartphones as Realme Q series in China and in the international market as well.

Realme Q Series: Q Stands For?

It seems like Q stands for the Quad Camera! Realme 5 series comes with versatile quad-camera setup on the back and these Quad camera smartphone in China might be named as Realme Q and Realme Q Lite.

The following Poster clearly suggests that the Realme Q is indeed Realme 5 Pro. But what is more interesting is that the price of the Realme Q will be in three digits, it might be 999 CNY which is roughly 10,000 Rupees in India. The price of Realme 5 Pro in India is 14,000 Rupees for 4+64GB variant. Realme will price the Q series more aggressively in China.

Realme Q Specifications

The Specifications of Realme Q will be the same as the Realme 5 Pro. It is powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC. Battery capacity is 4,035mAh and it comes with VOOC 3.0 Fast Charger in the box. It features a 6.3” FHD+ IPS display with a waterdrop notch which houses the 16MP front camera. It has a quad-camera setup on the back which features a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2 MP Macro Lens.

What About Realme XT?

Realme has unveiled the 64MP Quad Camera Smartphone Realme XT and we might see the official launch of Realme XT on September 5. Realme XT comes with the Snapdragon 712 SoC and it has a 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The 6.4″ AMOLED Display comes with a waterdrop notch unlike the popup mechanism of Realme X. The USP or unique selling point of the XT is definitely its 64MP Samsung Isocell GW1 sensor.

Realme OS

It might be possible that Realme Q series will come with the Realme OS out of the box. Currently, all the Realme devices come with Oppo’s ColorOS which not many people likes. Realme shared that they are working on its own UI which likely called Realme OS.

Total 4 Devices

Realme will launch 4 Products, the company CMO Mr Xu Qi Chase said on Weibo. Most probably Realme Q (Realme 5 Pro), Realme Q Lite (Realme 5) and Realme XT, the 64MP Smartphone. However, there is no confirmation on the fourth device yet. It’s worth noticing here that Realme Buds 2 also launched in India along with the Realme 5 Series so they might launch this earphone in China. They might also launch a new smartphone with different specifications.
