Xiaomi has always been focusing on its smartphone segment. They have their own Android OS which is MIUI 11. In May, an app was launched by Mi which is Mi Credit. The Mi Credit launched with a Bengaluru Startup named Krazybee. But, when it was launched it was only available for Xiaomi devices. The newly launched Mi Credit App is now available for all the Android Phones. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. As the app was available to Xiaomi/Redmi users so, Xiaomi reported that they have disbursed 28 crores in when it was launched for Xiaomi Users. So, many users have also taken a loan of 1 lakh from the amount. It is much different from the Mi Pay. As the Mi Pay is for UPI transactions but the Credit App is for the loan to directly take from the bank.
Therefore, Mi Credit App is mainly focused to give loan directly from the lender without taking much time in the procedure. Also, Xiaomi is assuring that the users will be able to get loans quickly as they can. They are also promising that they will get a lower interest rate from the lenders. Xiaomi has partnered with Aditya Birla Finance Ltd, Early Salary, Credit Vidya, Zest Money and Money View.
Mi Credit launched with a view of giving a loan between the amount between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,00,000. The loan will be given to the users of 18 years old and above. In the app, you will be able to choose the most relevant EMIs and its tenure. You will also get a different interest rate from a different bank and lenders.
