Oppo makes innovations, and it brings all its changes with their new smartphones. Nowadays, it is coming up with phones that redefine mobile photography. Now Oppo has officially announced Oppo Ace 2 launch date in India along with renders. Yesterday the pre-booking page of Oppo Ace 2 was up on JingDong mall, which reveals some Oppo Ace 2 specs. Oppo Ace 2 Renders Leaks

A short video recently uncovered the Oppo Ace 2. This video shows two colour variants – Moon Rocuik Grey and Fantasy Purple. The smartphone will support the 5G network. Furthermore, it may sport a 6.5-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with a 1080×2400 resolution. On the software front, it will run on  Color OS 7 based on Android 10. As of yer, Oppo has revealed only on storage variant, which is 8+128GB. However, it is expected to have more options ready by the launch.

Physical Overview

Back & Front – A circular cutout for the quad rear-camera setup with flash can be seen on the back. Moreover, “Ultra HD camera” is written between cameras. In the mid-lower section, Oppo has it’s branding in a horizontal format. Oppo Ace 2 comes with a punch-hole display at the front and thin bezels.

Left & Right – Volume rockers are visible on the left, while the power is on the right side.

Top & Bottom – At the top, Oppo Ace 2 comes with a secondary mic hole. The bottom of the smartphone is a bit congested. We can see a speaker grill, a Type-C charging port, a mic hole, and a SIM tray (moving from right to left.)

Oppo Ace 2 sports a unique design, giving an impression of flowing water or air. It has a quad-camera arrangement in a circular cutout. At the front, a punch hole contains the selfie camera. Furthermore, the Ace 2 will be stocked a 4,000mAh battery unit with supportability of 65W superVOOC charging. It could also support 40W wireless charging.

Oppo has not revealed much about the camera yet. However, as per leaks, it will sport 48MP(Primary) + 8MP(Wide-angle) + 2MP(Depth-sensor) + 2MP(Macro lens). At the front, it may have a 16MP selfie shooter camera embedded in the punch-hole notch.

Processor

The video that confirms the Oppo Acee 2 reveals that it will boast the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor. The processor will come with 2.84 GHz single-core Kryo 585 + 2.42 GHz, tri-core, Kryo 585 + 1.8 GHz, quad-core, Kryo 585.

Oppo Ace 2 Price in India

Earlier, the Ace series came under Reno, a sub-brand of Oppo. Reno presented Ace smartphones at aggressive prices. However, Ace 2 will launch with the Oppo brand-name. Thus, it will most likely target flagship phones. Consequently, Oppo Ace 2 will feature very competitive pricing when compared with other phones of the same range. Oppo Ace 2 leaked price is 4399 Yuan (source: Mukul Sharma). We can expect the Oppo Ace 2 price in India to be around Rs. 47,500.
