Oppo K10 is a budget segment smartphone. The specifications and the features of the phone are that of a budget phone, but it does not mean that it needs to be average in every sense. In this article, we look at the Oppo K10 camera performance and see how it performs under different conditions.
Oppo K10 Camera Specifications
Oppo K10 is a budget smartphone that comes with specifications. The camera module on the phone looks feature-loaded on the outside, with a triple-camera setup on the rear side. The primary camera is a 50-megapixel shooter, with f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Oppo K10 Camera Performance
Budget smartphones usually have an elaborate camera setup, but the performance might not be up to the mark. However, this is not the case with every budget smartphone. The camera samples will show you more about the performance. During our testing, we noticed that the primary camera performed in a decent manner under direct sunlight, and in outdoors.
In well lit indoor conditions, the performance of the camera might seem to dip, but it’s not drastic. The portrait mode performs well for it’s price as well. The background blur works well, and the edges are well-rounded, creating a complete image. There are multiple camera modes in the phone like slow motion, time-lapse, expert, and extra-HD, which allows users to take a complete 50-megapixel image.
The colours with the primary sensor look good, the 2-megapixel macro lens works fine. It captures decent photos. The colours are good, and the details are the same that can be expected from a 2-megapixel sensor. Taking about lenses and sensors, the phone also comes with a portrait lens, and the image output from that is decent. It does a good job in capturing the details of a subject, and depicting colours. The images are not the best representation of portrait images, but for the price, it performs well.
On the front, the K10 comes with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. The selfies taken on the phone look good. The details are not washed out, and the image does not get pixelated when zoomed in. If you are someone who utilizes the front camera of a smartphone a lot, this can be a good option for the budget it comes at.

The K10 camera performance can be called decent, but for the price of the phone, it performs well. It is not a camera centric phone, and expecting too much from the camera module is not right. The camera is not the USP of the phone, but it doesn’t perform poorly. For more such stories, comparisons, and other feature stories, keep an eye on Techburner.
