Realme X Updates: To be Launched in India Soon, New Spiderman Limited Edition and Much More!

Its been a month since Realme launched its Realme X with a fully bezel-less smartphone and pop-up selfie camera. This smartphone has caught a lot of attention because of its features at what price it is offering. This is the first smartphone from Realme with a high screen to body ratio.

Now new teaser poster has been shared from Realme Indian account showing that the smartphone will be launched soon. Also, a few days ago Realme had partnered with Marvel to launch its Realme X Spiderman Limited Edition in China. Realme India CEO Mr. Madhav Seth had said the device will bring some changes from its China Variant. In China, the smartphone was launched with Snapdragon 710. In India, it is expected to launch the device with Snapdragon 730.

Realme X Spiderman Far From Home Edition

Realme has launched the Realme X Spiderman Edition in China. The smartphone was recently teased by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth while announcing their association with Spider-Man Far From Home.

The new Realme X Spiderman Edition is not much different from the regular version. It also comes in Pearl White color variant and is packed in a red case. Apart from this, the phone also comes with special Spiderman themes which are put into the device. It will come only in 8+128 GB variant. The smartphone has launched in China around CNY 1,799 around 18,000 INR. In India, it is also expected to launch at similar pricing.

Realme X India Launch: First Indian Teaser Shared

Realme shared a poster on its official Twitter handle announcing that Realme X will be launched in India soon. It is expected that Realme launch its device most probably on July 15. The company had also launched the device alongside the Realme X Lite (Realme 3 Pro) in China in the month of May 2019.

While the Realme X Lite is the rebranded version of the Realme 3 Pro, that was launched by the company in India a while back. Realme X is a new device with a popup selfie camera. Soon after the China launch of the device, the Realme CEO Mr. Madhav Sheth announced that the device will be making its way to India, but with different specifications.

Realme X Expected Indian Pricing

The Realme X will be available in two different color options white and peacock blue. There will be three variants, the 4GB+64GB version will be priced at 1499 yuan (~15,300 INR), the 6GB+64GB at 1599 yuan (~16,300 INR), and the 8GB+128GB variant for 1799 yuan (~18,300 INR). In India, the device is also expected with similar pricing and processor tweaked as said earlier.

Final Verdict

At this price, Realme absolutely nailed it. Seeing features like AMOLED screen, in-display fingerprint scanner and pop-up camera at this price are really insane! If Realme manages to bring the device at a similar price in India then it would have no one to compete other than Xiaomi K20. Though we expected it with Snapdragon 855, the aggressive pricing is more than justified. Maybe there can also be a Realme X Pro with the flagship processor.
