Google Lens integration on MIUI Camera App:

It is a popular feature available to the users for image search, text selection, location finder now been integrated into the MIUI camera app to available these features for Mi Users. Therefore, The feature is now being tested on a few phones currently. It will available to Mi Smartphones soon with the OTA Update. Therefore, Xiaomi made this announcement on Mi Forums. There’s no timeline announced for commercial availability. Therefore, Here is the list in which it is currently available:

  • Redmi Note 7 
  • Poco F1
  • Redmi Note 7 Pro
  • Redmi Y2

Therefore, users can use Google Lens by downloading custom ROM builds. They have to follow these steps for using it:

  • Open the MIUI Camera App
  • Click on the 3 lines on the top right corner
  • Select Google Lens.

It is an image recognition mobile app which is developed by Google. Therefore, it was first announced at Google I/O 2017. It gives relevant information through visual analysis. Therefore, Google officially launched Google Lens on October 4, 2017. Now, it is available in most of the phones and other brands are testing its compatibility with their devices.
