Motorola is one of the oldest and trusted smartphone brands in India, but the last couple of devices from Motorola was not a great hit. Still, we have a deep belief from Motorola devices. At IFA 2018 Lenovo reveals the two new smartphones of Motorola One and Motorola One Power. Both the smartphones are the part of the Google Android Programme and coming with stock Android User interface. So let’s check whether the Motorola meet our expectations or not.
Both the smartphones have the very famous notch display. Motorola One series is first smartphones with notch display, from the home of Motorola. Also, the camera alignment is verticle (Dual rear camera setup). At first impression, the design will make you remember of iPhone X.

Motorola One
Motorola one has 5.9 inches display of HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset having clock speed up to GHz. The device has 13+13 Megapixels dual camera sensors at the back while on the front you will get 8 Megapixels camera sensor for selfies. The phone has 4 Gb Ram with 64 Gb internal storage. The smartphone packs with 3000 mAh battery Android 8.0. The Motorola One will be sold at the price of 24000 Rs.
Motorola One Power
Now if we talk about the Motorola Power One then it is a very exciting device with 6.2 inches display and glass back panel makes the smartphone different from others. The device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC which is a chipset and provides you good experience like Better Gaming Experience and Better Raw usage then the SD625 present in Moto One. This time it has 16+5 Megapixels dual camera at the back while the 12 Megapixel selfie camera has on its front. It has 4 Gb of ram and 64 Gb internal storage. With 5000 mAh massive battery this time Motorola seems to give tough competition to other smartphone brands. The price of the device should be under 15000 in India.
Verdict
Both the smartphones have good potential. But in our opinion, Motorola One will struggle in the market, because at this price point consumer have better options like Poco F1 and Honor Play. On the other hand, Motorola One Power seems to be a good competitor in the price bracket of 15000. Being a part of the Android One Programme can be beneficial for both the device. Most of the consumers show their trust on the device with regular updates and security patch. You will easily get security updates for 2 years. Also, the smartphone can be upgradable to Android Pie and Android Q.
