Nokia Smart TV: Everything You Need To Know
First Xiaomi, then OnePlus and now Nokia. Smartphone brands started showing interest in Smart TVs. Flipkart has launched Nokia branded Smart TV in India at the price tag of Rs. 41,999. In past, Flipkart has also launched Smart TVs under MarQ branding. This new Nokia Smart TV comes with JBL Sound and it has a 55″ UHD 4K LED panel. Nokia Smart TV Specifications
The TV comes with a 55″ LED panel with the resolution of Ultra HD (4K), 3840 x 2160 to be precise. The maximum brightness level is 400nits and Nokia claims 178 degrees of viewing angle. Nokia TV comes with Sound by JBL and the two-speakers produces 24W of audio output. It also supports Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and supports Google Assistant as well as Chromecast. Nokia Smart TV is powered by CA53 Quad-Core, 1 GHz processor and Mali450 Quad Core GPU. It has 2.25GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. It supports Netflix, Hotstar and YouTube apps and you can download more apps from the Google Play Store including Amazon Prime Video. The TV comes with 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports and 1 ethernet port. Sadly there is no headphone jack. WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 is present for the connectivity.
Nokia Smart TV comes with “MEMC” technology for better visuals. The Intelligent dimming helps to produce deeper blacks by accurate backlight control and a wide colour gamut.
Price and Availability
Flipkart has launched this Nokia branded Smart TV in India at the price of rs. 41,999 which is a decent price. It gets bundled with stand, wall mount and a Bluetooth remote controller that supports voice input for Google Assistant. Nokia Smart TV will go on sale beginning December 10 at 12 noon on Flipkart. They will offer Flat Rs 2000 Instant Discount on Prepaid Transactions and Complete TV Protection at Rs. 999 which includes three years of warranty against manufacturing defects and accidental damages.
