Realme GT Neo 3 is a newly launched smartphone which looks like a power-packed wholesome package. There are multiple attractive things about the phone. But, one thing that grabs a little more attention are the cameras. This GT Neo 3 camera review will talk about the specifications, the performance of the cameras and lastly, the camera samples for you to judge.
Realme GT Neo 3 Camera Specifications
The camera module on the GT Neo 3 is very similar to other smartphones in this price range. It has a triple camera setup in the camera module. The first and the primary camera is a 50-megapixel shooter that comes with f/1.9 aperture. It is a 24 mm wide lens with Optical Image Stabilization, and PDAF. The second camera is an ultrawide shooter which has a 120-degree field of view. This lens comes with f/2.3 aperture. The third sensor is a macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. This lens can get you very close to your subject and help you get better and sharper macro shots.
The selfie camera on the front is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.5 aperture. It also supports HDR and Panorama. You can shoot videos up to 4K at 30fps with the primary rear camera, but this is not supported on the front camera. You can only shoot videos up to 1080p, 30fps. Both the cameras have gyro-EIS.
Realme GT Neo 3 Performance
The camera performance on the GT Neo 3 is good for the price that it comes at. The images taken from the primary camera look good, the colours in broad daylight look vibrant, and sharp. However, some colours like the greens and the yellows might look more saturated. The wide angle images on the phone look good, and they do not lose any details or quality. Talking about the 120-degree field of view, the images look curved on the edges, but still manage to hold the quality and the details of the images in place.
The macro sensor, does not do much for a regular user, but if you are a mobile photographer or enjoy capturing images from your smartphone, then you can manage to get some very good close up shots of interesting subjects. The front camera also has similar performance and results. With the portrait mode, you get a good background blur, but the subject in focus look a little smoothened. This continues even if you switch off the portrait mode, and use the front camera for normal selfies. Images taken from the front camera do not look the best, but the performance is good based on the price it comes at.
