Google Maps Street View Gets Split-Screen UI on Android

Google has pushed a new update for its navigation app, Google Maps that lets the app to be used in the split-screen mode. After this update, Android users can use the app with Street View experience in the split-screen.

To experience this split-screen mode in Google Maps app you need not update the app as this new functionality update is pushed from the server-side. As of now, this is only available on the Android app and there is no confirmation on when iOS users will get this. An update that was pushed just a few days back has brought Indian languages support to the app. The app now supports Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Odia and also automatically transliterate the names of points of interest (POIs) to these languages.
