In September, Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 14 series 2022 is slated to hit the market as the iPhone 13 arrived in September 2021. Though the iPhone 14 release date is still months away, the surrounding buzz has started from now. According to sources on the iPhone 13 successor, Apple will launch only two sizes and not provide the mini of the iPhone 14 series. We have got mini iPhones from the debut of the iPhone 12. The newest leak reveals the iPhone 14 design. Leaked pictures of iPhone 14 Series moulds show the camera bump of the four models. Interesting, isn’t it? In this post, we will tell you everything we know about the upcoming iPhone 14 features from trusted sources’ leaks. So, with no further ado, let’s get started.
iPhone 14 Leaks: Everything You Need To Know
According to the sources, iPhone 14 series’ metal moulds pictures were discovered on Weibo, a social media platform in China. So, these moulds are surely for third-party iPhone protective covers rather than the production of real iPhones. If you look at these moulds, you can confirm that there will be no Mini model of 5.4-inch in the iPhone 14 series. Apple stopped the production line because of the device’s poor performance in the market.

The company’s current emphasis is on producing bigger iPhones. As you can see in the iPhone 14 leaked picture, two new iPhone sizes are introduced in the iPhone 2022 models. This confirms previous rumors of a complete lineup reorganization, with an iPhone 14 Max (non-Pro) replacing the iPhone 14 mini in the series. Most certainly Apple is going to launch four new phones as per the moulds: 6.1′′ iPhone 14, 6.1′′ iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7′′ iPhone 14 Max, and 6.7′′ iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The latest iPhone 13 series is available in three sizes. You can get the iPhone 13 mini (5.4-inch display), iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro (6.1-inch display), and iPhone 13 Pro Max (6.7-inch screen).
iPhone 14 Design Leaks
With the upcoming iPhone 14 series, Apple is unlikely to make a substantial design change. So far the future series will have a flat-edged and rounded corners appearance similar to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. It’s possible that placing the cameras may alter somewhat.
The iPhone 14 features a camera hump and seems to be taller than the iPhone 13 models. Also, there will be a circular punch-hole cutout on the front in the Pro models. And the non-Pro versions will stick with the present notch design for another year.
For non-Pro versions, the iPhone 14 series will have just two cameras and not include the third rear camera. In addition, some rumours suggest that the whole iPhone 14 series will not feature periscope cameras. There might be a significant boost in the camera section. Apple is going to provide a 48MP main camera upgrade. However, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that this extra sensor will only be accessible in Pro versions.
What You Can Expect in The Apple Processor?
In terms of CPU, the A16 Bionic processor will power the iPhone 14. It would be a rebranded version of the A15 Bionic chipset. So, obviously, you will see a better performance. But the non-Pro iPhone 14 versions will get the current A15 SoC, which is now used in the Pro devices.
