Netflix to Officially Roll-Out Shuffle Play Feature This Year

Netflix was spotted testing a Shuffle Play feature last year and now, the feature is confirmed to launch in the first half of 2021. The Shuffle Play feature will help users to decide ‘What to watch next’ on the basis of the streamer’s algorithms.

Now, subscribers will not need to browse content every time as this feature enables users to watch content based on their viewing history. Greg Peters, Netflix’s COO and chief product officer said that this Shuffle Play feature is made for users to“indicate to us that they just want to skip browsing entirely, just click one button and we’ll pick a title for them just to instantly play.”
