Sensex crossed the 50,000 mark for the first time ever
In the share market, today Sensex has crossed the 50,000 mark for the very first time ever. It during the early trade of Thursday where Reliance Industries and Bajaj twins consisting of Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance played the role as heavyweights and received positive cues from the global market. Moreover, the leading contributors were Reliance, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, and Axis bank. Earlier on Wednesday, Sensex rallied 393.8 points or we can say 0.8%, and closed at 49,792.12. The group President and MD at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nilesh Shah said that it is like India winning the test series on tour of Australia against all COVID-19 odds. He also added that Sensex is reflecting the positivity of the future.
