Oppo Reno 3 and 3 Pro Launched in China: Check Specs, Price and More!

Oppo has launched their new Reno 3 series of smartphones today at an event in China, this latest generation of the Oppo Reno 3 Series comprises of two new phones namely the Oppo Reno 3 and the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G. These two new phones bring some exciting new features and specifications that have excited us for the India Launch. These phones come with an new chipset and we are exicted to know how it performs in the real world. Oppo Reno 3 Specifications:

The Oppo Reno 3 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display with a water drop notch and a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080px, it is covered by the Gorilla Glass 5. This phone is powered by MediaTek’s latest 5G SoC which is the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L which is coupled with the Mali G-77 GPU. On the camera department the Reno 3 comes with a quad camera setup comprising of a 64MP Primary + 8MP Ultra Wide with 113 degree field of view + a 2MP Macro Lens + a 2MP Depth Sensor, on the front is sports a 32MP camera embedded in the water-drop notch for selfies. It runs on ColorOS 7 based on Android Q, comes with a 4,025mah battery and support for VOOC 4.0 Quick Charging as well.

The Reno 3 will be available in four colour options namely Black, White, Starry Night Blue and Sunrise and is priced at CNY3,399 (~34,500 INR/$485/€440) for the base variant which consists of 8GB RAM and is coupled with 128 GB of storage, on the other hand the 12GB +128GB variant is priced at CNY3,699 (38,000 INR/$530/€475), both these variants will be on sale from December 31, 2019.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G Specifications:

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro ships with a 6.5-inch OLED Display with a 90Hz Refresh Rate and a punch-hole to embed the selfie camera, this display panel also has a 180Hz touch refresh rate for better touch detection and less lag, this display also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 coverage and support for HDR10+. This new smartphone from Oppo is powered by the Qualcomm’s Latest 5G Mid-Range Chipset, the Snapdragon 765G which is bundled with a Adreno 620 GPU. Heading over to the camera optics, the Reno 3 Pro comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 + a 8MP Ultra-Wide Angled Lens + a 13MP 5x Telephoto Lens + a 2MP Macro lens as well. On the front it comes with a 32MP Selfie Shooter. Similar to the Reno 3, it also ships with a 4,025mah battery, VOOC 4.0 Fast charging and ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 Q out of the box

The Reno 3 Pro will also be available in the same four color options from the Reno 3 namely Black, White, Starry Night Blue and Sunrise and will be priced at CNY3,999 (~40,000 INR/$570/€515)  for the 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage which goes on pre-order starting from December 31 while the 12GB RAM +256 GB Storage version is priced at CNY4,499 (~46,000 INR/$640/€580) and will be sold from January 10.
