Three UK Partners With TCS to Accelerate 5G Rollout

On Monday, India’s IT services major Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) announced that it has been selected by Three UK to help them configure their mobile network for ongoing 5G services rollout. Three UK is one of the UK’s leading mobile network carriers to provide network services.

Three UK is in the business of deploying a 5G radio access network across the United Kingdom. The 5G network is already there in 175 towns and cities and is deployed at more than 1,000 sites in the UK. TCS’ work will include new site deployments, site upgrades, performance management, 3G and 4G tuning changes, and providing a next-generation 5G network to the kingdom. For the past 15 years, TCS has been delivering different services to Three UK. The telecom company has almost 9.5 million customers across the UK.
