WhatsApp Web is Now Getting An Extra Level of Security

Recently WhatsApp privacy policies came up that asks for user permission to use their data. However, now the deadline is extended till May 15 and WhatsApp has told its users that it will provide appropriate time to users to understand its privacy and policy terms. Now reports say that WhatsApp is now enabling the biometric lock for logging in to the PC on WhatsApp Web.

WhatsApp has taken this step to enable a security layer that will prevent unknown people from reading your chats on your desktop just by scanning a QR code. After enabling biometric, the user will have to verify face or fingerprint lock to access all the chats on PC.
