WhatsApp is working on enabling users to make their own stickers. Right now users only use stickers offered by WhatsApp or via third-party apps. Meta, Inc. has disclosed the WhatsApp sticker creation capability in the WhatsApp beta update. It is expected to make its way to the app’s stable version in WhatsApp new update shortly. There may be unique tools for editing the sticker, making them more entertaining. The WhatsApp new sticker feature will allow users to submit photos and turn them into stickers. As of now, there is no confirmation when the WhatsApp beta sticker feature download will be available. Also, we discovered in the WhatsApp beta update that it is going to increase the message deletion duration. Currently, you can erase messages for every one sent before 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. This restriction is expected to be expanded to 7 days and 8 minutes in WhatsApp new update.
How to Join WhatsApp beta?
Because the number of beta testers is restricted, not everyone is eligible to take part. After a while, the places become available again, so if you’re lucky, you might join the WhatsApp beta programme.
- Open the browser and visit the Play store app testing website: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.whatsapp. If you’re using a mobile device, scroll down and locate the Become a Tester option.
2) You must be logged in with the same email address that you use for Playstore.
3) Select Become a Tester. You will be registered in the beta testing programme after some time. Being a beta tester may take up to 24 hours!
4)Return to the above website to see if you’re approved. If you see Welcome to the testing programme, that shows you’ve already signed up.
5) Now go to the Google Play Store and look for WhatsApp. Most likely, you will receive an update, and the app’s name will change to WhatsApp Messenger (Beta). It will also identify you as a beta tester in the description.
With the WhatsApp beta update, you will get the unreleased version of WhatsApp new update. So, enjoy!
