It doesn’t matter how great the default camera app on a phone is, Google Camera just seems to improve upon it in every case. That’s also true in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S10. You have to remember though that Google Camera isn’t officially available for any non-Pixel devices, so the google camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10 isn’t official. Ports can’t be as well polished and optimized for certain hardware as the default software provided by the manufacturer. Some features might not work or provide uncertain results. Sometimes the UI might lag in the Google Camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10.

Cameras take pictures and pictures are processed by Image Signal Processor in the SoC. And Google Pixel 3 devices ship with Snapdragon chips and so the algorithms are based on the Snapdragon variant only. Samsung Galaxy S10, ships with Exynos chips in India and this camera port will not work in them until some kind-hearted developer ports it to Exynos chips. A few phones with Exynos variants, like Samsung Galaxy S7, S8, Note 8 etc.  already have it, but we have to wait for the Galaxy S10 Google Camera in the Exynos variant for now.

So here we present you the download links and procedures on how to install Google Camera in the Samsung Galaxy S10 series including Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10+, Samsung Galaxy S10e. The wide-angle camera will only work with the Google Camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10 if yours is on the latest update released for all the brand new Galaxy S10 devices out there.

How to install Google Camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10 series:

  1. Download the latest Googe Camera APK from cstark27 and Arnova8g2 using the link provided above.
  2. Install the downloaded APK file like any other normal APK as google camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, or Galaxy S10 Plus.
  3. Download the Google Camera config files from above and extract them.
  4. On your device’s internal storage, create a new folder named “GCam”, if not already present.
  5. Inside the “GCam” folder, create another folder named “Configs”.
  6. Move or copy all the extracted config files into the newly created /GCam/Configs/ folder.
  7. Launch the Google Camera app now and double-tap on the black area next to the shutter button.
  8. Select s10csMar2.xml from the available options and then select Restore.

When you do, you should have a working Google Camera port for Samsung Galaxy S10 without root. We will update the Exynos version whenever it comes out so don’t forget to follow us!
