Let’s now look at some sample shots we have captured with Realme 3.
The 13 MP back sensor is capable of capturing some good images in good lighting condition. As you can see in the image that the Sharpness level on the building is quite good. Also if you look at the sky, it does not overexposed and the blue color of the sky is reserved. Realme 3 does not oversaturate the images in daylight condition. Stock camera has the 2x option which can be used to capture zoomed in photo. Realme 3 captures a lot of details in the 2x picture without having the telephoto lens, which is a good thing.
In harsh sunlight, it overexposes the image sometimes. Although image quality is still good.
The artificial intelligent mode in Realme 3 Camera detects various scenes and captures the photo based on that situation. In our test, we have seen that it sometimes over saturates the image. The sky looks bluer and leaves looks greener. In some scenario, AI works well and captures good images with natural colors.
Realme 3 performs the same in Indoor light condition as well. Realme has optimized ColorOS 6.0 for better pictures. It captures a good amount of details in artificial light.
We like the Macro shots captured with Realme 3. The sharpness level is good and the colors look more natural. It can easily focus on small subjects.
The 2 MP depth sensor helps Primary sensor to capture some good looking portrait images. The edge detection is on point. The blurring algorithm is impressive too. Also, the detail and sharpness of the main subject are good. When the light is coming from the background there is a problem to adjust the white balance. Overall Realme 3 captures good portrait shots.
Selfie Camera Samples
As you can see in the samples, 13 MP front camera of the Realme 3 captures beautiful selfies. Overexposure issue present in front camera too. AI beautification works fine. Also, you can capture software based portrait shot with the front camera. The edge detection is not the best, but good. Sometimes it misses out the part of the main subject. The colors are vibrant.
