Realme X50 5G Launch Date Set For January 7: Everything We Know So Far
Realme is teasing its first 5G phone, X50 5G for quite some time now and the China launch date is finally officially revealed. The phone is all set to launch on 7th January in China. Some of the Realme X50 5G specifications were already revealed by the company. It will be powered by Snapdragon 765G chipset which was unveiled a few days back and we have seen this 5G chipset recently in Redmi K30 5G. Realme X50 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC which was unveiled alongside the flagship Snapdragon 865. Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 765G offer integrated 5G connectivity at an affordable price point. These chipsets are successors of Snapdragon 730 and 730G respectively with 5G and AI capabilities. Snapdragon 765G is built on Samsung’s 7nm EUV manufacturing process. It’s an octa-core CPU with Kryo 475 cores.

The chipset comes with Snapdragon X52 5G/LTE integrated modem for seamless 5G connectivity which is a great thing. Realme X50 will also have support for dual-channel WiFi/5G. Company has confirmed that Realme X50 5G will support dual-mode 5G SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-standalone).
Liquid Cooling
Realme X50 5G will also come with a new liquid cooling technology. It is going to be the first smartphone by Realme with some kind of cooling technology. The official poster confirms that it will cover 100% of the heat sources.
VOOC 4.0 Fast Charger
We have seen insanely fast charging speed on Realme X2 Pro and Realme will continue its legacy with the X50 5G as well. It will come with VOOC 4.0 flash charger which is said to offer 0 to 70 per cent charge in just 30 minutes.
64MP Sony IMX686
Realme will most probably equip a new 64MP sensor from Sony. Recently launched Redmi K30 also comes with the same sensor. Alongside the primary sensor, we will probably see an ultrawide angle lens, a dedicated macro lens and lastly a depth sensor or a telephoto lens. 32+2MP dual front camera will be present in the punch-hole.
