Android 11 was released a few months ago with many new features, in Android 11 Google has focused on user privacy. A team on Android Open Source Project is working on a new feature called ” Hibernation” which reduces the size of the application that you are not using. This feature is still under development, but there are some rumors that suggest that we might see this feature in Android 12.
What is the hibernation feature? If you are not using an application or it not has been used for a long time this feature will clear all the cache data of the application to free up space. That will help your device to run more smooth and fast without any issues. This feature will not permanently uninstall your application instead it clears the cache and use a way to compress that application to free up space.
