Apple’s Next MacBook Air Could be More Thinner and Lighter: Report

As per the latest report by Bloomberg, Apple Inc. is working on a lighter version of the Macbook Air laptop that will have newer design and hardware. The new Macbook Air is expected to launch by the end of this year or in early 2022 with a next-gen version of the Apple’s in-house M1 processors.

The company is planning to reduce bezels that will lessen up borders around the screen. The screen size will remain 13-inch only that will reduce the overall size of Macbook. The current Macbook Air weighs about 1.27 kg, is of 1.2 cm at its thickest point and now, it will get more light and thin. Also, Apple is planning to bring back the MagSafe charging system that was discontinued in 2018. In all, Apple’s new Macbook successor will have a more premium look and feel.
