Disney+ Hotstar New Mobile Plans

Disney+ Hotstar is testing a couple of new mobile-only plans which start from as low as Rs.49 per month. This is the lowest price ever for any OTT subscription and it came days after Netflix announced price cuts on all its plans. However, there is a caveat. Disney+ Hotstar new mobile plans are not available for everyone as of now. They are rolling out only to select users. The two main new plans are for Rs.49 and Rs.199 per month. These are introductory discounted prices. The original prices for the same are Rs.99 and Rs.299 per month respectively. Let us see what these Disney+ Hotstar reduced prices for mobile versions have to offer.

Disney+ Hotstar New Mobile Plans: Rs.49 & Rs.199

The Rs.99/month mobile-only plan is available at a discount of Rs.50, lowering the effective price to just Rs.49/month. This is rolling out to select users only on Android smartphones/tablets and not on iOS as of now. You can avail of this only if you make the payment by certain selected methods such as card, Paytm, UPI, or PhonePe.

You get 720p HD video quality and stereo audio for all content under this plan. The content is not ad-free which means you might even face unskippable ads while streaming. However, at the introductory offer of just Rs.49/month, this is a no-brainer if you don’t already have a Disney+ Hotstar subscription.

The other Disney+ Hotstar mobile plan which goes for Rs.299/month is available at Rs.199/month if you subscribe for 6 months. It provides access to the entire library of Disney+ Hotstar at 720p HD resolution with ads during sports and movies.

Both the Disney+ Hotstar new mobile plans of Rs.49 and Rs.199 per month are available only for a limited period for select Android users. Both of them are also in their testing phase so there is no guarantee as to when or if everyone gets to avail these offers.
