Indian Railways Building New Economy AC 3-tier Coaches

Indian Railways is going to build new Economy AC 3-tier coaches with more improved comfortable seats. Economy AC 3-tier is going to have 83 berths 11 more than the regular AC 3-tier coaches the space for more coaches has been made by moving the main electrical control below the train. A prototype Economy AC 3-tier coach with airplane-style comforts has been rolling out by the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala.
