Skype for Windows Gets Active Noise Cancellation Support And Other Useful Features

On Saturday, Microsoft released the Skype 8.0.76.48 preview version for Windows that brings support for active noise cancellation. This feature will enable users to do virtual meetings even when they are in noisy environments enhancing the overall user experience.

Also, some more features were released in this preview version, they are mentioned below:-

1. Active Noise cancellation.
2. Users are required to enter passwords lesser times as WAM support is added to Skype Desktop App.
3. A participants button has been added to let users know who is on the call.
4. Privacy-related settings have been allotted a separate category.
5. Some performance improvements have also been done.

The latest available Windows version of the app is 8.68.0.96. According to Microsoft, the new features will be added to the mobile and the desktop version soon.
