Last year Samsung and AMD announced their collaboration for their upcoming processor. They promise to deliver smartphone chips with AMD RDNA 2 graphics at its heart. This collaboration is set to deliver the first products sometime at the beginning of 2021. Samsung will likely utilize new SoCs in their next year Galaxy smartphones. Qualcomm, Samsung, Mediatek, and Huawei’s HiSilicon are among the largest chipmakers. AMD’s new Ryzen-series processors for laptops have received a good response. New leak reveals, the company now seems to be getting ready to launch a smartphone chipset under the same lineup. This will be named the AMD Ryzen C7 SoC. The new AMD Ryzen C7 SoC will be based on newly announced ARM Cortex X1. Continue reading this article to know more about AMD Ryzen C7 specifications and configuration.

AMD Ryzen C7: Everything you need to know!
According to the leak, AMD may be preparing a Ryzen-branded smartphone SoC. If proven real, it could shake up the mobile market. Same way as Ryzen processors has done for PCs and laptops. As per the reports, the company is working on Ryzen C7 chipset for smartphones that include two Gaugin Pro cores. It will be based on ARM’s recently announced Cortex X1 cores running at 3GHz. Furthermore, it will be paired with two cores based on the Cortex A78 running at 2.6 GHz. Finally, four low-power cores based on the Cortex A55 running at 2 GHz.
It is also said to have the new RDNA-based smartphone graphics solution that AMD and Samsung partnered for last year. As per the leak, the GPU is about 45 per cent faster than the Adreno 650 used in SD865. Furthermore, the chipset is said to have support for LPDDR5 RAM and 2K resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate. The chipset is said to have been built by TSMC 5nm process. Finally, it also has support for 5G along with the integration of Mediatek 5G UltraSave Modem.
At last, we recommend taking this leak with a pinch of salt. The image has many errors and inconsistent in names. Hence this leak may turn out to be fake. However, this AMD processor turns out to be real; it will surely shake the market competing with Qualcomm and MediaTek.
