OnePlus 8T Specs Leaked: Snapdragon 865+, 120Hz Display!

Earlier this year, OnePlus launched two new smartphones, OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. People loved these devices, given the premium experience the brand provides every time. OnePlus holds a large share in the Indian smartphone market. Now, it is soon coming back with another addition to its lineup, OnePlus 8T, which is to launch this year. There is no official word on the OnePlus 8T launch date in India or the OnePlus 8T price in India from the company. However, we do have some OnePlus 8T leaks that surfaced recently and which might pique your interest in the upcoming OnePlus 8T.

OnePlus 8T Leaks

The phone is rumoured to come with a flat display, as opposed to curved design. We saw curved displays in the earlier phones of this series. Moreover, it may feature a 120Hz panel. There will also be a punch hole in the top left corner of the display, housing the selfie camera. As of now, we can’t say much about the rear-camera setup. Though, as per recent reports, there might be a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX689 primary sensor. The sensor supports video recording up to 8K. There will also be an SD card slot to expand your memory. OnePlus 8T will likely have OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. Also, the phone is expected to feature the Snapdragon 865+ chipset.

OnePlus 8T Features

Here are the expected features of the OnePlus 8T.

Display & Battery

The upcoming OnePlus 8T could have a 6.55-inch punch-hole display, slightly smaller than that of the OnePlus 8 Pro. The display has a 120Hz panel, which makes your experience much smoother. Since the OnePlus 8T will be a low-priced flagship device, the 120Hz panel is a must, considering most of the other phones in this price range sport the same. A great display enhances the device’s visuals by a lot.

Talking about the battery, OnePlus 8T might come with a 5,000mAh energy capacity and support 65W WARP fast charging. This speed will assumedly charge the device’s 5,000mAh battery in less than 1 hour. Sounds cool, right? Let’s have a look at the OnePlus 8T camera features.

Camera

The device will most likely feature a quad-camera setup. It may be configured with a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. For the selfie shooter, OnePlus 8T might include a 16MP sensor inside the punch-hole display. Though, we are expecting an upgrade this time from the previous releases.

Processor

OnePlua 8T might come with the trendy flagship process, Snapdragon 865+. Additionally, it will be coupled with the Adreno 650 GPU. The phone will run on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. Furthermore, there may be an in-display fingerprint sensor, as the display is AMOLED.
